DANCES!

Each year in September the Missoula Folklore Society hosts a weekend contra dance & music festival on the shores of Flathead Lake!  We hire stellar out-of-town bands and callers, stay in cabins near the lake, swim, play music, canoe, kayak and even tell stories, jokes, and sing around a midnight campfire.  Each day is filled with contra dancing, dance & music workshops, and group meals in the main dining hall.  This past September, we filled up so you'll want to register early for next year.  Registration opens April 1.  No foolin'.
