English Country Dance (Activity Code: 3363400-01)
Join us for an English Country Dance party, where we’ll explore diverse examples of terpsichore for aristocrats and villagers alike.
Experience easy-to-learn movements in various forms like circles, contra lines, squares, and single file. Beginners and experienced dancers are welcome. Explore history and have fun with Mark Matthews as your dance leader.

Day of the week: Wednesdays
Dates: Sept 6 - 27
Time: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

  • For all classes, please bring soft-soled, non-marking, pair of shoes to wear at the dance. 
  •  Enter via front door at 301 E. Main St.
  •  Be on time; door locked at 7:30 PM!
     
Roy
Intro to American Social Dance (Activity Code: 3363400-02)
Explore popular American Social Dance types: Old Time Square Dancing, Contra Dance, Waltz, and Swing.  Led by Roy Curet, a dance leader with three decades of experience, and joined by accomplished dancer Rose Leach for Waltz and Swing sessions.
Minimum 12 registrants required.

Intro to Global Dance (Activity Code: 3363400-03)
Discover global dances in this introductory class, with special dances from Bolivia, South Africa, the British Isles, Israel, Turkey, Scandinavia, Macedonia, and the United States.

No experience required; all dances will be taught. Includes four 90-minute classes over two weeks. Led by Susan Morgan, this class prepares you for future Community International Dances.
